anyone use hot tub shell for pond?

I'd like to pu tin a pond and can get old hot tubs on the cheap. If anyone has done this advice and pictures appreciated.

I don't have any pics but I have seen it done. So if it is used, will it not come with pumps and filters? Either way it can be done without too much trouble.

I've thought about doing this before. I have imagined doing it for a Chinese water dragon enclosure. Have climbing branches and a basking platform above. Sorry about being a bit off topic
