API Root Tabs

I used to add API Root Tabs to my aquarium and then I stopped for a while. I added some again yesterday and remembered why I stopped. My water is kinda cloudy, nothing horrible but still unattractive. Does anyone else have this issue? How to fix it?

Assuming it is the clay you could try seachem clarity. I had one bad lot which crumbled as they were going into the water, the filters eventually cleared it but on other clay-based root tabs I have used this and felt it did help.

If you have an ammonia test kit, worth checking that. I have had spikes from the tabs (otherwise pretty happy with them).
