aponogeton bulb stop flowering

Hey everyone !

Anyone know how to make a aponogeton stop flowering? This things like a mutant! It has sent up 8 flowers in a month!! I just trimmed a bunch of the flowers off but I'm worried its sucking all the other nutrients up from the other plants. Any ideas??



I have tried the brushing with a little paint brush but it keeps sending up new flowers!!! Haha A month ago I never would have thought about asking how to make a plant stop growing ! Lol

Do you add any fertilizers to the tank?
