Woke up this morning to my tank being 94 degress! The platys seem fine, however one of my guppies is struggling. Immediately did a partial water change to help lower it and add some oxogen. I feel so bad. It's been a few hours and it's at 90 still, thinking I might do another to lower it a bit more, but I don't want to kill them by lowering it too fast. Ugg, I don't know what's worse...

I agree with Mark, let it cool naturally. You might want to use an airstone to add some oxygen. Also if you really want to cool it down a bit faster add a fan blowing across the water, but be careful you don't leave it and cool it down too much if you don't have a new heater yet.

Just curious, what heater were you using?

lol.. No it's not a Marineland. It's a AquaCulture, don't know the specifics, only that it's 12 years old. It's been super warm out, so I'll probably order one online, cause my LFS is CRAZY expensive for everything.
