Nope. their reproductive organs are in the long part of the body. They will climb all over each other if they are mating. Looks like one is cleaning algae off the other. I forgot what that part he has sticking out is called but its not to mate.
It's his breathing tube. It can extend up to 6 inches when he's fully grow. It's like their snorkel if they aren't breathing through the water fast enough.
Yeah, my apple snail has a breathing tube that must be around 4 inch long, it's quite impressive. He normally gets it out as he approaches the surface.
