Aquaclear 20 issues

Today I was cleaning my filter and I put it back on the tank, filled it with water , and plugged it in. Idk what the problem is but does this happen to anyone else and also how do you fix it?

The pump part of it feels kinda hot could that be the problem?

You forgot to mention what the problem is lol

BUT if you're referring to the filter not starting up that happens to me with my AC50.

Sometimes just giving the impeller housing a turn, as if you were going to remove it, does the trick or you can just push the impeller down a little which is what I had to do today and it should start right back up.
