Other than those specialized 2-10 dollar pads and tools specified to clean aquarium glass, what do some of you use to clean the inside of the glass on your tanks?

I've heard of vinegar/windex on a rag for the outside of the glass, but not sure of the inside.

Is an aquaclear sponge safe to use on the inside of the glass? I have some of those extra laying around I could use.

Also, what about polyester quilt batting? Could I cut a small square to use to wipe down the inside with no scratching of the glass?

the glass won't scratch that easy, it is acrylic tanks that you have to worry more about scratches. I use a magnet cleaner because it's so easy and u don't have to put your hands inside the tank.

u can use pot scrubbies from the dollar store, just make sure they don't have any soap or chemicals in them
