luckily i have some babies i discovered in my tank today! its a mixed bag this time both platy and molly. i know who the mamas are thankfully and i removed the ones i could catch and i got pics up. my only issue is every time i move them to the nursery tank they always die. i dont want to leave them in with the gigantic black male molly and the others because they will be a snack. there is 18 total that i captured and im sure theres more and i got pics up too :)

Try one of those breeder boxes. They're not ideal, but they can work.

Are you acclimating the fry to the nursery tank?

is the new tank cycled? do you do water changes often? a good idea is to get like moss in the tank so the fry have a place to hide. this way you dont become over populated.
