My platy finally had her babies there is about 8. When can I do water changes etc. When will I know genders and colors?

Water changes in the fry tank twice a week at least if it's a ten, four times a week if its smaller. It will take 4-6 months IME for them to show gender and probably 8 months to color fully. That was in a breeder box so in a tank they will probably grow faster

There is I think 8 in a 10l bowl. Do I do chances like I normally would? And should I wait a few days till they are all settled?

That's very small. Water changes, 25% a day.
