Baby Snail Question

Help needed! My egg clutch fell in the tank over night. I took it out and "helped" it hatch by breaking it apart as I saw in a video. So now I have about 10 baby snails in a jar. How do I transfer them to my tank without hurting them? Is a 10 gallon planted tank too big for them? They are even smaller than I expected.

Put a small piece of lettuce in the jar. They'll most likely be all over it in no time. Then move the lettuce to their new home. Its what I would try anyway.

They will do fine in a 10g.
