Its been a few months since I've added any rocks (and hence, any hitchikers).

Found this tonight, after lights out, on the back glass.

Its very small - maybe 1/8" to 1/4" across. I know its hard to see, but maybe somebody will know right off.

It looks like a tiny turbo snail (I do have a single turbo - a big one, 1.5" across). Can those multiply asexually?

Cool if my remaining turbo (left over from just after my initial cycle) has been able to reproduce.

Not cool if this is some sort of dangerous critter.

These little guys ( collonista snails) do reproduce pretty rapidly but are great algae eaters. I have them in my tank as well and find them a welcome addition.

So he was a hitchhiker. Must have had him at least a couple months without noticing.

I'll do some research. Do they reproduce on their own?

We would all be surprised at the amount of things in our tank that we did not know about. I`m still seeing things in my tank that I did not know that was there.
