HI, I'm new to the forum. I hope someone can help me. I currently have 2 aquariums, a 5 gallon & a 20 gallon. The only fish that's in the 5 gallon is a male betta in the 20 gallon I currently have guppies, neons, angel fish and algae eaters.
What I would like to know is can I put bamboo in one or both aquariums?
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hi, welcome to AA!

Bamboo isn't aquatic so it will rot. Also, a 20 gallon is too small for an angelfish in a community tank and it may eat your neons and guppies. What kind of algae eaters do you have?

Like Sini said it will rot if completely submerged, ALTHOUGH... If the stalk is taller than the tank leaving the leaves above water it will grow fine. The leaves just have to be above the water.
