Bamboo shrimp

This is my first ever shrimp and ive had him for about month or 2 and hes been this colour since the 2nd day we had him is he okay he also has a hole on his other side

They tend to change color while molting, if he’s been like this for a while your should consider adding some form of calcium it will help him molt

I wouldn't add calcium unless we know what your gH is, if it's less than 5-7 dgH, I would bump it up. What is your tap water like?

These shrimp are colour changing masters, they will change throughout their molt cycles.

Not sure what the gh is as of this moment but i do know that its normally high

Should be fine. Do you know the pH? This could give us a ballpark figure of gH. Are you running a water softener? If so you may have a higher pH but no gH.

It normally sits at 7.5 i think the shrimps dead as its on the bottom of the tank on its back but i read somewhere that it could be molting
