Do you think 35 pounds of base rock is worth $50? It's from craigslist.

It was "Fiji" live rock, but has been dry for over a year I guess. That's why I'm calling it base.

I would say it`s worth it. I usually see it for 2.00 a Lb.

then yeah i'd pick it up, just be sure to wash it and cure it well before you add it

I third that great price ..gotta love cl... the only thing I don't like about buying live rock already used is you have no clue what the rock has soaked in.. never no may've he's out of the hobby because he heavly used copper ...

Ya I do love craigslist. I just got a complete set up for 500 bucks...
125 g tank and stand
Fluval fx5 filter
Protien skimmer
Bio skimmer
2 power heads
100lbs sand
150lbs live rock
72" coralife light with three settings
Various cheap corals
And about 400 worth of chems, test kits and various foods
Plus three siphon pumps and about 7 buckets
Oh ya and a new bucket of primo salt
Plus a shrimp, yellow tang, three clowns, a mandarin, 4 damsels and 3 chromis and a medium angel. ( although the tang died, and I took the damsels, angel and the chromis to my lfs because I didn't want em in my pretty reef tank lol)
