We live in texas and have some bad storms. We have battery backups for some of our stuff and I have my betta tank on one at my desk.

Does anyone use them for electricity failures?

Tempted to put them on a tank with a heater for sure not sure if one needs it for just filtration considering in normal circumstances power is back on in at most 3 hrs. When there are tornados it could take longer.

Thanks!

I am in Iowa. We get lots of storms and tornadoes here. I don't have any of my tanks on batteries, but eventually I am going to get a few battery powered air pumps for when the power goes out. Just last month, the power was out for 7 hours.
