I have a 29g tall with a sponge filter being powered by a power head, a Fluval C4 on the lowest flow, and cardinal tetras, lemon tetras, a horseface loach, and otos. I plan on adding either harlequin rasboras or green fire tetras. I also want to add a betta. Will a betta be ok in my tank?

I have a butterfly betta in my 75 gallon with Cory cats, a gourami, green fire, neon, black phantom, and penguin tetras, and some platies and they all get along fine.

I have a male half-moon plakat beta in my 6.2 gallon bow front with 3 platys, a gold zebra loach that's growing way too fast, and a bumblebee goby. I've never observed any real aggression besides the occasional chasing. It's definitely up to the betta, but I think it'll be alright.

Good thing is it's easy to remove a betta and home them in a nice roomy vase just in case!
