Betta tank mates.

Ok so here's the deal. I have an old friend who has just started the hoppy about a year ago and has a similar stock to me. But he has a 30 gallon. And 4 mollies. 6 Cory's. 5 danios. It's planted. The filter is an aqua clear 300. He wants to add a betta to the tank. I'm not a betta expert so could he put a female in the tank. I wanted to check with you guys to give him the correct info.

A female could be added but the mollies need a brackish water tank.

Ok would I have to purchase more than one female or can they be fine alone.

You can purchase more than one female but they might fight to establish who the alpha fish is.

one female is ok, I have also a community tank with one female betta.. Having two depends on the agression level of your betta..
