Okay, it's a long journey Passion's gone through. Let's see....
He was in a 20long tank with a platy, cory cats, danios.
Ripped him fin on filter intake. (caudal fin, 1 inch straight rip)
To jar. Healing rapidly.
To hospital. Healing stopped, but didn't get worse. Just stopped healing.
Then ripped his anal fin on filter intake there, too. Covered the filter tube with panty hose. No filter intake naughtiness.
Back to 2o gallon, in a breeder trap now. Frustrated.
New rip on caudal fin, higher up that Rip #1. Anal fin rip still there.
I see the shred of fin that fell off caudal fin rip #2 on the bottom of the breeder trap.
The fin is shredded, no white cottony growths or anything. I bought him last October.
Temp- 77 f
nitrate, nitrite, ammonia- zero
