Every where on the Internet they are saying that betta males have long fins am females short rounded fins? they are mistaking because species of fighting fish like Betta Imbellis can have short finned males, I have 1 my self.... So don't rely on the Internet too much...

Not true, most web says "generally" or "most" of male bettas have longer find than a female.
