Biomatrics Skimmer

I was wondering if anyone had used this skimmer and what their opinion was on it. It says it is rated for 150 gal. It comes with a CA 800 pump. Would this work for a 55 gallon fowlr? Also, about how much are they? Thanks.

Looks like crap to me, it certainly isn't enough for a 150g. It may work for a 55, but I doubt it.

I have a CPR bak Pak 2R skimmer I'm selling, I'm looking for 65.00 + shipping, it would do fine for a 55g FOWLR, for a 55 reef... it may be OK but you may want to change the pump to a Maxi jet from the Rio it comes with. I'll be ready to ship it in about 1-2 weeks.

How much would the maxi jet run me? Also, does it come with the surface skimming pre-filter? I am interested in it. Thanks!
