I understand what u mean there. Walmart is it here lol there's a couple of little stores here and there, but most of the time everyone goes to walmart. I think it's worth it, I love it I will never go back to gravel! Makes the tank look really pretty and the fish!

How do you vacuum? Doesn't it get sucked up w the water, or does it fall back down like the gravel?

Like most of the time all the poop and food will be sitting on top u just go over the top and suck the nasty stuff up, maybe a little tiny bit of sand.
