Btw adding the extra fish was a big help. Like you said now they feel its safe to come out. What a shy species.

That's a great! Soon, they will colour up beautifully.
 
I'm not a 100% sure but they both look female to me. Are you able to get a better side profile photo?

i will sure try. they are still a little camera shy. if i come within 10 feet of the tank they run. I have been careful not to keep scaring them. I want them to feel at home in their new environment.:hide:

They are awesome fish! One of my favourites! From these photos, I'm confident to say that they are both females because they both have pinkish belly. It's better than having two males I guess.
 
Will they fight? And can I add a male for breeding?
