Bolivian ram question

Is it okay to keep a bolivian ram as a single? I am not really interested in a pair or breeding. It would be in a 20 gal with a sailfin molly and bristlenose pleco. Maybe someday would add some cardinal tetras.

Perfectly ok if it is alone get a male so you won't have baby's and better colours
