I recently found out that female cherry barbs are brown and the males are red and am wondering if it's hard to breed them. Has anyone done it

It's pretty easy. Just google the params for breeding them and try to keep the water in that general area. I'd also keep multiple sets of them in there, since they are smaller fish (The smaller the fish, the less parental care/mating care they have)

You having any luck breeding them I have 3 males and 3 females but the females don't seem to be getting fatter ( carrying eggs) how big do they have to be to start breeding
