Breeding killifish

Can I breed them in a 2.5 gal and take out parents once eggs are laid and do daily WC instead of having a filter?
What should heat be at?
I have air tube to use
What is cheapest best and very available food I feed the fry ? I have Petsmart and pet supplies plus to buy from
My mom might have synthetic yarn I can use .
Any other tips ?
