Breeding Nerite Snails

Hey all, I am just wondering if anyone has any experience breeding Zebra Snails or any Nerite snails. I have just started a 10 gallon that i want to start breeding snails for my other tanks in. It has been recommended to me that i add the snails then gradually increase the salinity level up to whatever it needs to be. Then after the breed start lowering it even slower to prevent them from hatching more snails. What should the salinity level be for snails? I am not sure how much salt defines brackish water?

Any info that anyone can offer me would be appreciated.
