It is "Die Buntbarsche Südamerikas 2" by Ingo Koslowski, I believe it can be had on Amazon for about 100.00. I also highly recommend both volumes of Uwe Römer's cichlid atlas.

Well, I'm not sure yet. I just got home from working 10 hours and I haven't been down yet. The lights got turned on but that's all I know. Not that much excess water on the floor and the missing fish hasn't shown up according to my mother.

I've been reading about it while working. Will be my next purchase also.



This book I just got is slightly disappointing. Doesn't list sex dimorphism for individual species. Gillie was right, lots of pics though.

Nice grab, I hope the cost wasn't too much of a suckerpunch, volume 2 is much cheaper. I believe that Koslowski's book is still better, even though a lot of those species have been described since it's printing and if you end up with it in your hands I can get you set up with a full translation. Römer's book does have some mistakes, but those have been said to be done by the printer and later printings should be correct.
