160 gal tnak with a sole 4 inch red devil. He's been in there for about 4 months all alone.

Went to Cabo San Lucas for a week and when I got home yesterday there is a coating of this bright green slimy stuff on the glass. Its more evident where the filters blow water back in to the tank, but its really thick in spots. To the point where it looks "stringy." THis normal or is there a certain way to clean it?? Id say 80% of the glass is covered

The red devil seems unaffected, other than having a hard time seeing through the glass. haha. Any help to prevent this or advice on how to clean it would be greatly appreciated

haha, no sunlight at all. The house was locked up while I was gone. Neighbor came over to feed the fish and dogs, but that was it.

No company for this little guy. Hes alreadu trying to fight me thru the glass, I can only imagine what he would do to another fish is his house.

Ill clean it though, thanks guys
