Few days ago I noticed brown spots all over my tank glass (front and sides), I saw few spots on the rocks which I have anchored the riccia.
I'm not sure what type of algae this is, lots of brown spots. I dont have a cam so couldn't take a picture.
I have a 30g tall tank, its about 3-4 months old. Lots of plants 2 filters (internal and a hanging filter), 30w cfl daylight bulb, few neon tetras and one paradise fish.
I dont have an algae eater except the paradise fish.

I cleaned few spots with a sponge during the weekly water changes.

Any idea how to get rid of these?

Yep. If it brushes off easily, then it's diatoms and should go away on it's own in a few weeks.

This will go away on its own but you could start getting an algae bloom of another kind. You could add some other algae eating fish. Just stay away from the flying fox/chinese algae eaters.
