brown bubble algae???

first there was a little on the back of the tank now its all over the back of the tank. also some purple reddish bubble algae ive been doing 14 gallon water changes every other week in my 55 gallon tank. im going to start doing like 7 gallons every two or three days thats the first right should i add any reef safe chemicals or what ive never had this problem tanks been up and running for a year and a half. i need help!

I`m thinking your saying that its some algea with bubbles in it . Probably Cyano you are talking about. Read this
