:D OK my tank has finnally cycled , but now I have brown algae. It appears to be producing tiny bubbles??? Is it time for some snails etc. My LR looked so nice before I hope it bounces back.

Can I clean it off manually anyway?

It's diatoms and you have to let them run their cycle too. You can clean it off of the glass and maybe vacuum some of it off of the substrate and lr, but it will go away on its own in a few weeks. However it is probably time to add some of your clean up crew.

Honestly, it doesn’t sound like diatoms because of the air bubbles. I have never known diatoms to produce air bubbles. That is what happens when you have an algae that is producing O2. Your tank seems too young for cyano, but that is what it sounds more like than diatoms.
