So i was looking at my tank like usual, and my small plant that is hidden has Brush Algae on it

is there any effective way to get rid of it and i read that it thrives in high pH and CH

now its only a 10 gallon and i wont get RO, but how do i get the CH down and the pH w/o using chemicals?

thanks

that was what i was looking at before and i guess manual is the only way to get rid of it

what is CH? carbonate hardness?

high iron usually causes the long (several inches) thread or hair algae. brush algae I'd suspect nitrates and phosphates aren't in balance...my guess is phosphates are a little high.

yes thank you, i have to go get some new tests tomorrow for my plants and stuff

thanks
