Bubble nest but what fish

I noticed a fairly large bubble nest today in my 30 gallon tank. I have no idea who made it???

Angelfish
Neon tetra
Skirt tetra
Swordtail

There is a skirt tetra that has been rather fat looking for a while.

you can rule out sword tail as there live bearers

You can rule out all of those fish as non of them are bubble nest breeders. Anabantids (i.e. Gouramis,paradisefish & Bettas ) are the most common bubble nest breeders in the hobby along with Ctenapomas and leaf fish a close second. If you don;t have any of these, it's probably your water telling you there's too much protein in it.
