Bushynose breeding question

How do i tell if my bushynose is pregnant or ready to lay eggs?

I generally see the male cleaning a spawning site prior to any signs the female is ready to drop eggs, once she lays the eggs and he fertilizes them he kicks her to the curb and watches the eggs not allowing her back into the cave. I've never personally witnessed any behavior specific to females prior to depositing eggs, maybe someone else has?

Alright both of mine just sit in the corner by my oxygen tube and not really hang out in the caves.
