Can i add a fish?

I changed my tank about 2 weeks ago from 5gal to 10gal, lost all my fish apart from one tetra, anyway last week the tank was cloudy, I did add old filter media n old water to new tank.
Because I have 1 neon tetra still alive, can I add 2 neon tetras to my tank or shall I wait longer, don't know my readings for the water as I'm taking in a sample later to the pet shop, i want fish noooow!!!! Lol

I would wait for your readings if I was you. If your going to the pet shop for your reading you might aswell get your fish from there once readings are all clear. Better safe than sorry

The cloudiness is the bacteria bloom and that is normal and good. It means ur cycle is almost done. I usually wait til my nitrates are down to 20ppm or below and do about a 35 40% wc and then ur fine to add a couple fish
