hey im getting some kribs hopefully soon so i was wondering if kribs are compatable with convicts or what other cichlids are they compat. wiht and im trying to stay within a 3-4 inch at max fish

I've never tried it so I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't think these fish would be compatible. Convicts are Central American and Kribs are African, so they may require different water conditions (pH and so forth), although I think I remember hearing that kribs live in softer water than the Rift Lake Africans. But IMO the biggest problem would be aggression. If you keep a male and female convict, they will spawn and likely kill most other fish in the tank, and even a single convict can be pretty aggressive.

yeah thats what i was thinking too just needed to know if they were the same etc. thanks
