So i went intending to buy my cardinal tetras today and ended up instead getting two metallic blue rams. The employee said he had trouble sexing jueveniles so i pull out the smart phone, make the bf pull out his smart phone and the three of us each made our best guess to pick a male and female can you guys please weigh in if we were right?

Male?

Thanks i was afraid of that. As they start to mature is there any signs i can look out for if they could be a potential pair? Also, when they do the lip lock fighting thing is that just between males? Mine have not done that but two who looked exactly like my maybe male were at the store, that was one of our reasons for guessing on the two i got. from what i gather metallic blues can be from a couple different breeding combos, I'm hoping mine are different because they are possibly different sexes but it could be they are differently bred.
