Can't figure out what this is on my snail

I have taken this snail out and scrubbed it over 9 times and this film keeps growing back. Any idea what it is?

I think it may be coralline algae..... normally the purple stuff means you have a lot of calcium in the tank

Some sort of sponge??

the purple is it soft or hard , soft maybe a sponge , hard maybe Coraline ,
If your talking about those barnacle looking things maybe eggs or even little feather duster shoots forming that would be my guess
