Can't Find Water Without Nitrate In It

Your test kit may be to old. Its going be 2012 and your kit was dated 2008. Once you get a reliable reading of the water with your test kit I suggest getting fish that are more compatiable with your water source. Also a lot of freshwater fish can tolerate a wide variety of PH levels. Also beware of changing your water source to something like distilled water.

Freshwater fish actually need some minerals and pure/Ultra purwe water sources will cause the fish to die from the lack of minerals to help them stay healthy.
