I have 30 cardinal tetras in my 55g and a few corydoras. I'm looking for a fish that can go with them that won't eat the cardinals. I don't want a gourami though and I have had bad experience with angel fish eating cardinals. Thanks.

a rainbow shark might work,i dont think there mouths are big enough to eat cardinals, and mine is out basically all day long scavenging

How about a Rainbow or a Redtail Shark? I don't about other's but my RTS swims all throughout the tank ... and I haven't heard about either one really harassing cory's. I've hear Rainbows are actually a little more docile than an RTS.
