Chocolate Chip Starfish Question

We recently added a Choco Chip Starfish to our tank about a week ago. He seemed to be very happy crawling up and down the glass to eat, but the last 24 hours we have not been able to find him anywhere. I know that these guys like to find little places to hide, but I am kinda worried about the little guy since he is new to the tank. Don't want him choking on me.

Anyone had one of these guys disappear on them for awhile? Do they like to bury down into the sand to hide like Sandsifters?

He is hiding in the rockwork or behind some of your equipment. I have one in my non reef tank. Sometimes he is missing for a few days before he comes out. No need to worry.
