following is an excellent article (with pictures) that depicts the tremendous aggresion generated between the big malawi cichlids. the aggressor is a breeding victorian hap, pundamilia nyererei and the passive (but larger and in no way helpless) guy is a cyrtocara moorii.

FYI, the incident took place in a 26g tank. the breeding trio of pundamilia were housed peacefully in it till the intruder showed up .
