How often is normal for them them to breed? We just had one have babies 2-3 weeks ago. Now she's holding AGAIN! How tough is this on the mama? Should we try and separate them? I know hukits opinion on them since they are hybrid.). Just wondering if we should just let nature happen or what.

I have 2 that I call happy Ho n happy Ho 2.... Literally they spit and are holding again.... I'm going to rehome them. Just bc their fry lives like nothing else... At least I've kept them going to the LFS :)

That wasn't supposed to be . That was supposed to be :)

Been fortunate that these have not been hybrid.... A few others yes. So at least I can get rid if them :)

I personally think it's not great for the female. Once I strip my girls of babies I won't let them hold again for at least two months. I want them to gain their weight back and get healthy again before holding. IMO I end up with happier mommies and healthier bigger babies.
