Hi guys, i have a 4 foot aquarium, and i bought 6 cichlids of different types to add, there are lots of objects and enough hiding spaces, the boss is an orange cichlid, sorry dont know the species, and his very good, he breaks up fights and and takes care of the middle, but theres one cichlid who keeps on going up and down on the left side of the tank. and wont stop.

they live with 2 corydoras which they dont really care bout. and 9 neons. i know the neons will be eaten soon, but i dont mind...

could there be a reason for not choosing a hiding spot??

will he get stressed and die if he doesnt have a hiding spot?

Is this a bad sign....

sorry guys, my first cichlid tank...

oh and they dont eat much at the moment, coz they dont see me putting food in...

thanx in advance for any help...

If they are just new, give them time they will get used to it. Mine didnt choose a spot for a while but now they have settled in nicely and live in their spots and such

i would worry if the fish do that for a full week
for how long is he doing that?

its been about 2 weeks now, and 1 of them is still acting like that. he still eat though
