Bad news. One of the platies died

. What should I do now? I have a likely uncycled tank from a likely PH crash. I added some Equilibrium and Alkaline Buffer.

PH is up around 7.6 Just changed water and not better.

That's a good pH. All I know to do is monitor ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels and do water changes accordingly. Have you lost any?

Lost one Thursday. My water is green from algae if it will help solve this.

Did you ever get the numbers from testing your water? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH?

PH:7.6 Current ammonia: 0.25-0.50PPM Don't know about Nitrite or Nitrate.
Going to do a water change.

I agree the algae bloom is probably caused by high nitrate or nitrites.

Seems to be getting worse. They are on their sides more often. One of them is also hitting the other one.
