Clean Old Tank

Hey everyone,

What's the best way to clean an old tank that had thick green algae on every wall. The tank was being used for about 10 years. Thanks for any help!

Scrape it off. Use a credit card or a straight edge if you have too.

if its glass a razor works the best, just becareful not to cut the seals all to shreds, for the really really stubborn stuff you can use some really hot water to help loosen it up

Yes it's glass and so far a razor has been doing a pretty good job. Thanks!

I use a new toothbrush to get near the silicone. Seems to work pretty good.
