Cloudy water help please

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Nothing to worry about. Give it time, do regular maintenance, and it should go away on it's own.

Is this a new tank? Or have you had it for a long while?

Cheers

Please consider changing to some appropriately sized pellets/wafers like Hikari products which say they do not cloud the water.

Try getting some stem plants like Hornwort in m experience not great in low pH water or Anacharis/Elodia sometimes referred to as water weed, or other fast growing plant, it can lay loosely on top of the tank and float. Rinse in treated water at least over night after bringing home, make the water conditioner extra quantity to treat it, and rinse the plants well before putting in and soaking.

With mine, just one day the water was mostly clear, and the next day it looked like nothing ever happened!

This is the progress so far, thank you all for the help. I have done a mixture of everything said (water changing with a gravel siphon, cutting back on food, cutting back on the amount of time the lights are kept on) thank you for all the help
