Cloudy water??

Any one have any ideas as to why my tank water is starting to look cloudy? I have a 15 gallon with a rainbow and a gourami. And a few platy frys. My ph is normal and so is my nitrate and nitrites.

What is normal?

Ammonia?
Nitrites?
Nitrates?
pH?

How long has the tank been setup?

What kind of rainbow?

Most likely it is a bacteria bloom, especially if you have recently set up the tank.

Ph is 7.4 nitrite is 0 nitrate is slightly elevated. It's hard to say. I don't have a master test kit yet. I don't know what kind of rainbow it is. It's not very colorful. It has been set up recently. About three weeks. Is there anything to do about it? Or do I just ned to let it run it's course?

You need to get a test kit. Most likely you have ammonia in the water, and your tank is not cycled. What you are seeing is a bacteria bloom. It will run it's course in a few days, but in the mean time, I would be more worried about ammonia.
