This fish morphed his colors when I added other cichlids into the tank.

Nice. Wasn’t sure if anyone would guess a true Jack. Most people think it is an electric but it is not.

I've raised two EBJD's. One lived six yrs. The other five. I've seen standard Jacks that looked every bit as good as the EBJD's, with the deep blue, purple and pink spangles.
