I'm a DIY type and want to make props for my freshwater tank. Is there a type of concrete or grout I could use?? Any info on the subject of making props helps.

Youd be better off using some sort of aquariumsafe silicone- you can find it at most pet stores - or you can use the aquarium safe "glue sticks". We just started carrying them where I work in the tiny saltwater section.

I have the aquatic silicone and have used it to make props with PVC that comes Out looking great with no PVC showing but I wanted to try a different method

I'm looking for ideas myself so I'll tag along here. I'm sorry I can't offer advice (yet anyway) but I was curious as to what you've made with PVC? Do you have pics?

what about quickrete mortar repair? it comes in a tube and says "sanded acrylic formula..." is this ok to use for some little caves?
